At Remix Hotel NYC 2007's Sound & Stage Room, presented by Microsoft and Crossfader, several hardware and software partners will showcase cutting-edge music-making technologies—all running on the Windows platform. The space will feature the latest music tools running on the new Windows Vista operating system, demonstrating how Vista has been designed to enhance the music-creation experience for professionals and consumers alike.
The Sound & Stage Room is split between the "Sound" and the "Stage" areas. The Sound area will feature a number of small kiosks with a variety of hardware/software solutions with a laptop PC, desktop speakers and various peripherals for demonstration by reps from the various partners. On the production tip, you'll get the goods on Steinberg Sequel and Cubase, Celemony Melodyne and Power Suite 5, Learned Evolution and more.
The Stage area will have a full P.A. system complete with turntables, controllers, a laptop PC and a DJ mixer; it will feature back-to-back presentations and performances by some of the music industry's hottest artists and producers, such as J Punch, Logikal, 3kStatic, DJ Boo and Chris Petti.
